I suggested EDI not to set up transactions with her business partners (not
that wouldn't be a bad idea) but basically as a portal to bunch
transactions in.

Way back in the day, Mapics used to have a key-to-diskette batch feed. And
that did a bunch of editing. I was looking at EDI to help her do
something like that.
