The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Thanks much appreciated-will go through everything and hopefully get up to speed soon enough
thanks

Hello Ryan ...
No-one envies your predicament. Even if you had some years of iSeries operating system experience, it would still be an unrealistic expectation for you to be able to "turn on" BPCS and get it to do something constructive without anyone to help guide you. If you can get to the main menu, then maybe this Overview Reference Manual would provide some initial help ---- >>
for version 4 of BPCS:
www.unbeatenpath.com/training/4/menus/Overview4m.pdf
for version 6 of BPCS:
www.unbeatenpath.com/training/6/menus/Overview6m.pdf
for ERP LX (v8.3 of BPCS):
www.unbeatenpath.com/training/8/menus/Overview8m.pdf
<

One of these Overview books won't turn you into a BPCS expert because they're at too high an altitude for that. But, at least it would provide the architecture of the modules, how they are relate to each other, what types of functionality are available, and show how data is intended to flow through business processes in a graphic format. You'll find more detailed reference books in the same URL menu system but I don't recommend those for you at this point in your BPCS life.
Peace to you,
