Can anyone help me understand the ZQWAP file in BPCS v6.04?

Its description is 'Queue Work File - Activity'.

This file has been filling up and causing users' interactive jobs to freeze
up.

I am looking to understand what is in here and whether there is a cleanup
process that exists for the file or do I just need to keep extending it?
