Why do the users want to make stuff before it's needed?
They just do. The warehouse is across the ocean and it takes
approximately 4 weeks transit time to get there. So when they place the
customer order, that ship date is set according to how long they think
it will take to make the inventory and then transit it to the stocking
facility.
Bud's response caused me to go over the code that we automated for
version 405CD and I believe I've found the problem. We were plugging in
the Release Date as the To Date for Planned Order Release. I've changed
the automation to look out 3 months in the future instead of the Release
Date. I should have the results this next Monday.
