Why do the users want to make stuff before it's needed?

Bill,
You could perhaps try jacking up the DRP relationship transit time. For
example, 365 should ensure that any customer demand for the next year
would get scheduled for now. Not sure how they would begin to manage
priorities but it doesnt sound like that is very important for this set
of users.

We've set up a new facility to be supplied via our main facility. What
e're noticing is that items are not being placed on the DRP orders
enerated for customer orders due in the future. My guess is it's doing
his because DRP doesn't sense it needs to make it now. A review of the
RP300 screen says the order is planned.
This doesn't meet the way our users want this facility to be supplied.
asically, they would like DRP to generate a resupply order for any
ustomer order out of that facility regardless of the customer order due
ate. How would this be set up?
