Let's see, 7.1 became GA over a year ago on 4/23/2010. It was announced
on 4/13/2010. And IBM gladly lets most software vendors have access to
early releases of the OS for quite some time before that.

One or more of the following:
- Milking the maintenance cash cow and spending it on paying off leverage
buy out debt instead of mostly on maintenance?
- No 7.1 lpar yet? Do they support LX on 7.1?
- Intentional snub to encourage you to upgrade to LX?

Infor has published some BMRs that are needed to get 405CD to work on 6.1.
Install these. Run the ANZOBJCVN as noted in both the 6.1 and the 7.1
Memo to Users. Do not migrate until you get a clean report (replacing
objects with new versions) or can run successfully without these objects
(obsolete programs you are no longer using).
After having done so we ran 405CD fine on 6.1. We've since migrated to
7.1 and LX. Can't recall which we did first. We still have 405CD loaded
and I can get into INV300 but we haven't really shaken it down recently. I
do more systems stuff than BPCS.
