We run multiple companies within one environment without clearing
anything. The real trick is how you set up the Chart of Accounts and the
macros that post to GL.

IF I wanted to create an 'empty' environment in order to startup a 2nd
company, what files would I need to clear out in a V6.00.04 environment?
I
will be keeping, however, the majority of the item master and bill of
materials.

I would also want to leave the chart of accounts intact but clear out
all
of the previous activity and balance.
