Ryan - The keyboard emulation is contained within IBM's Client access and is inherent to the specific workstation. BPCS has no control over how the specific workstation's keyboard is mapped.
Every workstation has its own as400.kmp file and the mapping can differ dependent upon how the specific user has mapped their keyboard.
I'd advise that you lock down one copy of as400.kmp and replace each workstation's version and that should fix your dilemma.
Just as a side note there's no such thing as BPCS 5.8 for windows.
Hope that this helps.
Thanks,

Subject: [BPCS-L] BPCS Keyboard Mapping
Hello,
I'm the new help desk intern at my company and this is my first time
working with BPCS. We are having a problem with our keyboard mapping that I
would like some advice on. Sometimes when our users log in to BPCS they
aren't able to confirm their password because the keyboard mapping has
changed and the Enter key has another function. The way we fix this is
going in to the keyboard options and opening our as400.kmp file. Sometimes
this fixes the issue for a few days, other times it might happen the very
next day.
Also, a few times it will attempt to load a completely different path with
no prompting. Instead of loading the path IBM/client
access/emulator/private/as400.kmp it will attempt to load Marka.kmp Any
help on why BPCS might not retain/load the path correctly would be
appreciated.
We are currently running BPCS 5.8 for windows.
