That is correct - Create the NOTAX code in program SYS140 and then the ITEM and CUSTOMER "marriage" of the NOTAX codes in program SYS150. Program SYS140 is where you set any effectivity dates and rates.

We created a tax and a rate code called NOTAX and populated the RCM and IIM files with that.

We are about to go live on BPCS LX from 8.0, and are testing everything.

Can anyone tell me what changes were intended in LX? More specifically, we don't use BPCS tax programs; can someone tell me how to code the tax tables so that we don't have to code every item in the Item Master that we might sometime sell? We haven't had to do so in any earlier versions.
