We are on BPCS 405CD We have a program we run about every 6 months. First
check last transaction, IIM ( older than three years ), check where
used, MBM.

If older than two years, produce list of finish good items, with customer
from SSD or SSH. Sales review list to authorize deletion. We
created an item type of "I" for inactive to identify inactive items. "I"
means no new orders. Different customers / sales people have different
ideas what is an old item.

If Purchase Raw item "R" type, then the last transaction (older than two
years) and no where used, then we delete the item and cleanup several
files.

Addition files to consider cleaning up: IWI, MPN, SSD, SSH, CMF, LBR,
EIX, SIL, SIH
Cleanup PO's HPO, HPH, AVM, APO,
APG,

Item numbers are in file SIL, Invoices, and ECL orders. How far back
do you keep for order history and invoice reprints?
