Robot Help Systems has forurms at their web site specifically for their customers who are on various software packages & Robot, including BPCS.

Thank you all for your help.

I went ahead and used the RBTSTRLRN and ran the program. It captured
the information and entered it. I ran the robot job just to check and
it worked! I ended robot learning then as well. I'm excited that it
works. There's 2 or 3 other programs that we were having trouble
getting to work, I'm going to try to get them working now.

Truth-be-told, no one here had heard of that. Robot was added quite a
while ago and many of the programmers who set it up, left.

Again, thank you very much for all of your help.

Aaron,

There is a command in ROBOT that will automatically capture your batch
command and create a job schedule entry for you. That command is
RBTSTRLRN. When you execute this command it will start the Robot
Learning
process. Any batch job you execute, the variables and job settings will

be captured by Robot. It will then create a job schedule entry and
present you with the screens to modify as needed.

Once you have completed setting up the Robot jobs you'll want to execute

RBTENDLRN so that Robot will stop capturing your batch jobs.

If you have any questions you can feel free to contact me off line.

Subject
[BPCS-L] Running SYS130D via Robot/Command Line

Hi everyone:

I'm relatively new to BPCS and the AS/400, so forgive me on the things
that might be common knowledge that I don't know.

I'm trying to run SYS130D, "Security Master Listing", via a command line
in Robot (a job scheduler) without user interactivity.

Essentially, when I run the program normally I get a display screen and
it asks if I want to run it Interactively or in Batch (1 and 0
respectively). Here's the call from the job log.

How do I figure out what parameters I need to pass, if I don't have the
source? On that same note, is there some place I can get the source for
SYS130D and/or SYS600B?

Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
