What version are you running? Does it work correctly for any of your
trading partners?

ECM should be pulling the default order class from the Customer Master
file (RCM) and it's base class should be the same as what you see when
you go into Order Class Maintenance (ORD170D).

When you manually enter an order, does the first order maintenance panel
(ORD700D2-01) default to the proper order class, or do you manually
enter the order class you want?

Subject: [BPCS-L] Order Class & Bass Order Class (ECM)

Hey All,

When we create a customer order manually with example order class 106
(one we created) and it has a base class of 5 BPCS creates the customer
order as expected.

But when we process an order through ECM and let it create the customer
order in BPCS it creates the customer order and when we look at the ECL
file it has an order class of 106 but a base order clas of 4 but we are
expecting a 5 and its not setting the Ready For Pick Release flag.

So does anyone have any idea of where the base order class of 4 is
coming from?

Thanks in advance
