Dan,

This is a test case I have set up. The lead time is 5 on all test part
numbers and the shop calendar has ALL days as work days, and there are
NO on-hand quantities on any part number.

Don,

Can you supply some more information?

Such as:

1. Quantity on-hand of the sub-assy and end-item.
2. Lead times of both items.

I changed the due date and firmed up a forecast, then did the regens.

I am looking at the dates on the End-Item vs the dates on one of the
sub-assemblies, and the system seems to have reversed the reschedule
dates??

Example:

Part Number Planned-Release-Date Planned-Due-Date
Resched-Date-From-MRP

sub-assy 2008/02/20 2008/02/24
2008/03/24
end-item 2008/03/25 2008/03/29
2008/02/29

Above is how the system looks after the regens.

Seems to be incorrect on the sub-assy part, or on the end-item - one of
them seems backwards to me??
