One other "decimal" problem is perhaps simpler. We have, for
example, a part number for hose that has a UOM of FT, and is issued in
decimals of a foot. That's not a problem until the quantity gets down to
less than a foot in a location - INV300 shows the quantity on hand in
that location as zero when it might actually be 0.8 or 0.3

My users here tell me that for years now there has been "some kind of a
decimal problem" in the BPCS logic (CD405 vers). In one of the programs
- parts issued or in backflushing of parts issued, certain part numbers
come out with an odd decimal qty. used which is incorrect and must
always be adjusted.
Any clue what they are referring to?
