Hi All,

Help!

Our parent company was sold. We will cut over this month, changing our
month-end periods from calendar to 4/4/5, & our year-end from end of Sep
to the end of Dec. Back in 2000, we were also sold and changed m/e from
5/4/4 to calendar and y/e from Dec to Sept. So I know some of the stuff
that has to be done...

Here is what's different, this year will have 15 periods; we are on
4.05CD which only allows for 13 periods in a year.

Last time, I took a snapshot of BPCS when closing under the old company,
then had the Accounting folks finished closing the prior company under
the snapshot version of BPCS. At that time, I also cleared some fields
and records (w/ dfu type tools) in many of the G/L files on the new
company side of BPCS...

This time, I'm thinking about doing something similar. additionally,
I'm thinking about adjusting our close periods backward on the new
company side of BPCS, i.e., period 6 was Mar '07 ~will now be Jun '07.
I know this sounds really scary, but since I will be making
modifications on the GJD, GJH, GPM, GGM, files anyways. Besides, I
cannot find any solution that would be much easier; I've already spoke
to Infor help desk...

Looking for input. Thx in advance.

Best Regards,
