I have just finished up with an ERPLX (8.3.1) Implementation that had 66 factories making a mixed myriad of products. It was a big job, but it went well. We also changed their warehouse designations from 2 characters to three, and restructured their functionality. We changed their item classes completely, re-aligned their warehouse locations, and give them a whole new set of tools to do their job better. This implementation took about seven months. In my 19 years working with BPCS in many different environments, this was one of the smoothest upgrades I have ever been involved with. ERPLX runs very well. It is better to manage than all of the versions back to 405CD. It was rewritten in RPG and is much more manageable. For those of you considering it as opposed to 8.2, you would be best going to 8.3.1. It is by far the best yet.
