Files are declared with "X" suffix in ASSET generated RPG program while compiling ADK sources to indicate more that more that one logical files (Over the same physical) are declared in RPG source in order to have separate logical files to be used for various data I/O operations. If we make Unique Access path = yes in data model definition of Repository, then the single file will be declared in ASSET generated RPG for all the file operation done in the program.
