You may check the posting date in the journal entry  (event processing)
and the account rule too.

Hi,

 

I am posting some journals and the program keeps giving the message "An
error was encountered while validating update of Event 1785190: Account
on Journal BJ0000001 Line 1 cannot be posted because it is invalid for
the requested Posting Date."

 

I have checked all the segments (both mandatory and optional) and
everything looks fine. Does anyone has a solution to this? We are on
BPCS 6.1.01 mixed mode.
