Look in the account cross-reference inquiry for the whole segment string
you want to use. You wil find it invalid, or the begginnig date falls
after
tje journal date.

Hi,



I am posting some journals and the program keeps giving the message "An
error was encountered while validating update of Event 1785190: Account
on Journal BJ0000001 Line 1 cannot be posted because it is invalid for
the requested Posting Date."



I have checked all the segments (both mandatory and optional) and
everything looks fine. Does anyone has a solution to this? We are on
BPCS 6.1.01 mixed mode.
