Tom, Another thing to check would be the users security settings. If the warehouse selection is stating specific warehouses instead of *ALL then you may have to add that warehouse to the list of warehouses code for those users. Frederick C. Someone has recently created a new location and left the flag set to 0. I'll change it to "2" same as the other alocatable warehouses and see how it goes. So they created a program to create the 300 locations. The problem was they did not populate the Location Usage Flag field and left it blank. That caused us not to be able to auto allocate. If so, BPCS will not consider any other wh/loc. Mark

But we know there are sufficient stocks and they can manually allocate the parts, but not auto-allocate them. Our other facilities/warehouses are not affected. I don't know what has changed in the last few days. Any ideas what I should check ? I can't see anything wrong with the Facility Master File record or the warehouse Master File record. Any help gratefully received. Thanks in advance.
