We are on 405 CD & have a history with earlier versions, all mixed mode so far. We have had similar interests, but in our case we were interested in getting more decimal places, and in fixing some rounding errors in BPCS. 1. Use Unit of Measure conversion to handle not the Inventory perspective but Accounting needs ... I hear tell that other folks might be able to use Currency or Item Classes for this 2. Use Phantoms in BOM to convert # decimal places handled in different stages of operations 3. Modify the Billing program to do the rounding of the final Invoice with number of decimal places desired ... and if you do this ... also check Post Ship Billing (a different program is invoked) WARNING ... We have had situations where DIFFERENT CUSTOMERS have different and conflicting demands upon us ... We able to comply, but then with personnel turnover, people can lose track of these special rules that only apply to certain customers, so be careful how you structure your solutions. We also use the Special Pricing. BPCS has more sophisticated Applications such as "Promotions and Deals" where Special Pricing is for companies without fancy needs. We'd like to have different pricing by combination of facility-customer-item which is not supported at 405 CD basically we have different sourcing and expediting rules by facility customer can choose to accept much longer lead times to get the parts cheaper Al Macintyre We are on BPCS 6.01.01 mixed mode. When we do special pricing BPCS calculates out to 4 decimals, we would like it to stop at 2 decimals as this is what our customers want. I would like to know if anyone has a work around or has a solution to are pricing problem. -- - Al Macintyre http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:AlMac http://www.ryze.com/go/Al9Mac BPCS/400 Computer Janitor ... see http://radio.weblogs.com/0107846/stories/2002/11/08/bpcsDocSources.html
