At our version, 405 CD, there is a hierarchy of Special Pricing overriding the list price that populates the order line at time of order entry creation. However, the human can change most anything that automatically populates the screen, and secondary screens accessible via the various action codes and commands.

From the order entry screen, key F1 then F2 to navigate through how to do this on your version. You can also print the help text, or get at its source code. Ours is in file QPNLSRC (PNL for all Help Panels) in library BPCD405CDS (S on end for Source Code) Thus, for programs whose myriad options not self-evident to all users, we can print out a mini-manual on just that program, from the help source. It is not as great as the real manual, but is there if you have access to the source code.

We have also added some reports / inquiry to try to make it easier for people to see what is in the special pricing rules on a particular customer or item, since the base BPCS stuff can be confusing and counter-intuitive.

Dear all,

We are using BPCS Client Server V6.1.01, Can someone advise me how to
create an order with that get the price from EST event though the
customer having promotion code ( and maybe including item promotion )

Thanks a lot.
Ai
