No. Depending on your BPCS version, suggest you look at CIM (the bar coding module at our version level) and 3rd party alternatives, of which there are many, some that mesh well with BPCS. Basically, SSA bar code module is not stable from version to version, and some clients want features not found in the SSA versions. You might also look to growth flexibility. For example, you might not want wireless bar code readers today, or RFID support, or use this in physical inventory & cycle counting, or have this be working while the AS/400 is "down" for backup or BPCS file reorg, but it is nice to get a solution with upgrade paths.

Hi there

Please advise whether the WHM module is the route to pursue if we would
like to:

Generate barcode labels on a pallet level
Scan these labels and generate a receipt transaction against a Shop
   Order
Scan pallets and select a transaction to generate in MMM (MRPII) eg
   Stock Movement, Stock Write-offs.
Split pallets and generate new barcode labels per pallet. .
Scan pallets that are to be shipped out and generate a Post Ship Billing
At all time Lot Control must be maintained for traceability.

No physical locations will be defined in the store.
