Look in archives for sql tuning in general. Lots of advice.

In a nutshell; use IBM command PRTSQLINF to look at long running sql statements.
Also - watch the job while it runs and find out which statement it is 
"sticking" on.
Consider indexes for long running sql's.

Not the end  all to end all's, but may bring you to a solution.

We run SYS120 and other BPCS reorg each weekend after a backup when no one
on BPCS.  Do you run some BPCS reorgs regularly?

ACR900 is lightning fast for us, it is INV900 which can take forever,
depending on size of ITH file.

When you fill in screen of end fiscal tasks, what it is to do, have you
changed that, or person who does it?  Or is this an automated task where
the parameters today may not be identical to years ago?
