Dear all, we have some query fetichists in our company which are asking how to link numeric fields with non-numeric ones. In general we convert the numeric one into digits and then do the link in the next query. But if the user keys a different length e.g. 010422 instead of 010409 the link won't work and the result of the query will be wrong. Of course this could be solved using addtional queries but I'm looking for a smarter solution. So any idea? Nevertheless I wish a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to the bpcs-l-midrange community. I appreciate very much your suggestions and comments to BPCS topics.
