Thanks for the response Dan. But as I understand defining the options in the SYS603 screen only maintains the options 'within' the programs and not the actual programs themselves (ie ACP100 etc...). Then in program SYS600 change the respective users to the new group that you created. -----Original Message----- From: bpcs-l-bounces+dsweeney=phoenixbcinc.com@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bpcs-l-bounces+dsweeney=phoenixbcinc.com@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Mark.Lindley@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, September 21, 2005 6:22 AM To: bpcs-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [BPCS-L] BPCS Group Profiles Is there a way in BPCS (V8.2.01) to define a number of users in a 'user group'. For example a range of users (say sales administrators) need to access certain programs (ORD700, INV300 Etc.......). So I would like a 'Group profile' called SALESADMIN (where the authority is defined) and then the users would adopt this authority. I do not need to define the options within the applications (as per SYS603), just tha actual 'Program Object Name' as in SYS600. I hope this makes sense.
