As a side note you should look at the new version ERPlx. The new interface is much better and works well. The system requirements are that you have to have Websphere on your AS/400 or a windows based server. I recommend that approach. -----Original Message----- From: bpcs-l-bounces+dsweeney=phoenixbcinc.com@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bpcs-l-bounces+dsweeney=phoenixbcinc.com@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Dan Sweeney Sent: Thursday, July 21, 2005 9:50 AM To: 'SSA's BPCS ERP System' Subject: RE: [BPCS-L] Version 8.2 GUI, green screen or web I would say 90% of the BPCS installs are green screen. In 8.2 all of CEA accept for FRW is green screen. Clients are still finding the full client server implementations to be not well suited for data entry. Especially in Order processing. -----Original Message----- From: bpcs-l-bounces+dsweeney=phoenixbcinc.com@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bpcs-l-bounces+dsweeney=phoenixbcinc.com@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Bunch, Wendy Sent: Thursday, July 21, 2005 9:39 AM To: bpcs-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [BPCS-L] Version 8.2 GUI, green screen or web Our company is going from version 6.1.2 mixed mode to version 8.2 I'm curious which form companies on 8+ are using. IT would rather everyone went to green screen, but our accounting department prefers the GUI environment. Which are you using and why? This is an e-mail from Wabash Technologies, Incorporated.
