The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
The information that you are looking for is quite detailed ... the kind
that we would expect to find in text books and other educational materials.
The experience of most people on this list might not be a good match to
what you need ... in my case I have been involved in my career with the
implementation of a dozen major packages in my career, 3 of them ERP, but
what dictated how they were implemented was not any standards in those
package industries, but how the management of the companies involved wanted
it done.
Suggest you attend BPCS University, and have list of questions for the BPCS
Professors, so that you can compare what you already know about other ERP
with BPCS.
There are many existing BPCS consultancies that offer classes in just about
everything you might want to know about BPCS ... how to implement, what all
the fields are for, how to work various applications.
If your pre-existing knowledge of other ERP is weak, then perhaps before
going to BPCS University, you attend APICS University.
APICS is the Professional organization that invented ERP standards 50 years
ago, and have continuously improved them.
