Good News Everybody!

Please report any problems to david (at) midrange.com.

It looks like the problem may have been with port 5000 being used for
something else.
I will give you a more definitive update after some sleep.

The *secofr does not seem to be the problem we get the same error with or
without that authority.

The most detail I can get from the joblog is as follows:
    Message . . . . : -CALL PGM(BPCSUST/ALAUNCH) PARM('5000')
       03/01/05 17:37:45.942400 QCADRV QSYS 039
    Message . . . . : 10000 - SNDPGMMSG MSGID(SYS4096) MSGF
      MSGDTA(' ')
       03/01/05 17:37:45.942816 CLMSG BPCSUSR 006
    To module . . . . . . . . . : QC2SYS
    To procedure . . . . . . . : system
    Statement . . . . . . . . . : 6
    Message . . . . : Start of the TCLAYER failed .

Does this enlighten anyone as to what may be wrong?

Thanks,
Bob

And I think you still need to start it under a User Id with *Secofr
authority...

cheers,

Clare
