While I am not that familiar with BPCS and SAP, I'm assuming you are asking about functions and features rather than the political aspects One reason I've heard is the need for concurrent operations support within routings. I understand BPCS does not support this function while SAP does. Is anyone aware of a SAP mail list (something like BPCS-L) where Navin can pose his question. He might get very telling responses from those who have migrated for functional support reasons.
