In addition to this, the company standards and vendor service do play a 
major role in selection of ERPs.

Plus BPCS users were facing service problems for the past few 
years...(thats what market says..)..

But the investment is huge in terms of migration from one platform to the 
other...

SAP is a good solution if you are a large company (over 750 million in 
sales). I tend to think that if you are buying and trading companies in 
that size; there is a good chance they will be sap and it makes it easier 
to integrate the companies.
