Is you version of test the same as your prod? Note some versions the userid
and password both have to be less then 9 long. Also check the jobd's etc in
the lib that you are listing as your user lib under sever in workstation
settings.

What settings are you using on your client.
We get that message when we do not have a test ALAUNCH deamon started on the
400.
Also, what port are you using to connect , you need to use a separate port
from your live system.

[BPCS-L] Session Manager

We are running on BPCS version 6.1.01. The problem we are having is
setting up the session client to connect to our test environment. The
session client works fine in production, but when we change the parameters

to connect to test we get
FATAL ERROR: Cannot start physical server. Check INI file. Have gone
through jobd, jobq, Checking how Alaunch is being submitted, NWICFG ,
everything we can think of and come up empty. Anybody have suggestion on
what we may be overlooking.

Thanks,

Glen Langston
