We studied the Plant Tooling Preventative Maintenance stuff that came with BPCS 405 CD and determined that it did not serve our needs, so we assigned an item type and item class for Tooling, machinery, a range of item #s, and made some modifications in which certain fields of item master are used for tracking tooling usage, scrap percentage by machine, and other stuff to help us see which is in most need of preventative maintenance ... in other words we used existing BPCS file layout for some other purposes.

If you have files on AS/400, even if you not have the source code, you can use OS/400 commands to get at layout of the files ... e.g. DSPFFD

We have recently purchase Cognos Impromptu and PowerPlay. We have BPCS, and
BPCS Plant Maintenance software running on AS/400 in our company.

We have received the catalogues for BPCS, but I was just wondering if you
people have ready made catalogue for Plant Maintenance software.

Actually we have developed most of the Catalogues, but just wondering if
your company has these catalogues.
