In BPCS (version 4.05 CD), do the routings operations get compressed for a job that is past due? For example: I have a job that should have been released on 8/23 and I can release it today, 8/30. The routing are is follows: Will BPCS ignore the move and queue times and compress them to zero? Will it compress actual run times as well? For MRP systems I have used before, move and queue times could be set at an estimated and minimum move and queue time. The estimated time was used to plan orders under 'normal' circumstances and the minimum was the hard constraint when these times were compressed due to an order being late. Run time was also a hard constraint that could not be violated. Any help would be appreciated.sign me a BPCS novice. Marc Graff Production Control Manager States Industries, Inc.
