We have had similar problems with ECL lines for several years. It may only happen on one or two orders a week therefore it is never a priority to fix. The problem usually occurs when editing or deleting an existing line while adding a new one. We have tracked the problem in both 6.1.01 and 6.1.02 MM but have never fully addressed the problem with SSA. Tony Kleier Robbins, Inc. We have triggers on ECL for Insert, Update and Delete that records details of the change in a log file. The update should show a before and after image. In the case of the missing lines, the user is usually updating the quantity and request date on the last line of the order and adding a new line at the same time. The result, on some occasions only, is that the existing line no longer exists in ECL and the new line does. The log file in those cases shows a before and after update record for the change to the existing line, but instead of an insert of the new line it shows that BPCS updated the existing line to be the new line ! As an example and order has lines 1,2 & 3 all for some quantity of the same product on different release dates. Line 3 has the quantity reduced and line 4 is added for that quantity a new release date. The result should be an order with lines 1,2,3 & 4. When the probelm occurs is that the order now has line 1,2 & 4, no line 3. The log shows line 3 being updated with the reduced quantity, then shows line 3 being updated to be line 4 with its quantity ! Has anyone seen anything like this ? SSA Global Support have no record of a similar problem. Any clues would be helpful. Thanks.
