Hello,

BPCS Client/Server V8.2 requires a PC to either load the BPCS Client
software or to run a Web Client interface (Internet Explorer required). It
will not work on a 5250 green screen terminal. It has no green screen
command line style user interface.

If you need to use dumb terminals directly attached to the AS/400, then I
suggest Mixed Mode BPCS instead, which in V8.2 is actually mostly green
screen (there are only 2 programs which run from Windows).

It is also possible to run a combination of Mixed Mode BPCS and
Client/Server BPCS over the same BPCSF library. If you share, the 2
environments use the same library list, except in Client/Server there is one
extra library to add containing the substitutes for the display programs
which Client/Server uses. In this way you can give those who want the
Windows/Web interface what they want, and give green screen users what they
want.

Your SSA Global Sales representative should have further information for
you.

Thanks,

Genyphyr Novak
