You can create a weekly forecast in base BPCS by entering the appropriate 
data into either Item Class/Warehouse Overrides (FOR140) or Item Warehouse Data 
(FOR170).  Both contain a field called 'Forecasts per Period for MRP.'  
Entering a 4 in this field will give you an approximate weekly forecast value.  
I 
would not use the Prorate Flag, as that DECREASES your forecast amount 
remaining 
with every MRP generation.
