Consider this strategy:

Just before moving to a different OS/400 level,
      archive your historical BPCS transactions.

Used well, Locksmith for BPCS archiving software
restores response time to what it used to be when you
had a fresh copy of BPCS on a new machine.

Recommendation letters:

One of our customers recently came up with this idea: use
Locksmith to reduce the size of BPCS test environment
files so as to free up more hard drive for the OS/400
transition work.

Subject: BPCS V6.0.04 and OS/400 V5R2

We are currently running BPCS V6.0.04 and OS/400 V5R1. We are planning an
upgrade to V5R2 and have heard that the response time is not very good on
BPCS after the upgrade. Has anyone done this that can share any information
about whether this is true?

Thanks,
Daneille Eddy
