Bob I am Chairman of the BPCS User Group in the UK. I didn't attend Boca Rotan but did attend Las Vegas last year. Essentially I attended as a representative of our UK group to provide feedback to them. Our main interest then was the progress of SSAGT into a viable commercial organisation - an issue which would influence our investment decisions. As such I found the conference useful especially speaking with other users both from the BPCS community and also the newly acquired "Interbiz" product groups. I think each individual has to decide what he wants from the conference eg commercial update, product update, product awareness, networking with other users etc etc. My view is that you get out of these events what you are prepared to put in. I have been involved in organising our User Group Conference for many years and last year in the UK we combined with the other SSAGT User Groups to hold a combined event - which was very successful. But User Group events are a different format. I am considering attending Orlando and trying to make contact with other BPCS User Groups in the U.S. or even further afield. I believe that there are some groups reforming recently. Will they be represented at the client forum? There may also be some Users who may want to join our group ( www.bpcsusergroup.com ) - does anyone have any views on this?
