Thanks Al... I'm all set up. I'm new to these types of interactive sites
and am finding they are an excellent way for me to become more
knowledgeable on hardware and software platforms being discussed. I am an
IBM Premier Partner and we resell iSeries, pSeries, and xSeries products
and services.

Feel free to contact me off-list with additional questions.
I am not currently subscribing to midrange_L although I have done so in the

past, and can get at XML archives through the software that powers my
personal website.

>How do I subscribe to Midrange-L?

Conceptually the same way you subscribed to BPCS_L.
Do you see at the very bottom of this post some information about how
people can join BPCS_L?
Substitute midrange_l for BPCS_L in any such url.

Warning ... the web site is experiencing intermittent problems, so if you
have trouble connecting, it is not neccessarily that you are doing
something wrong.

You can go to the website and sign up there www.midrange.com and select the

mailing lists that are available, except I think that is part of what is
broken right now.

To originally join BPCS_L, did you send an e-mail like this?
subject = subscribe <bpcs-l-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx>
well substitute midrange-l for bpcs-l

Warning: the volume of midrange-l message traffic is very high compared to
bpcs_l so you may wish to review methodology of receipt ... individual
e-mails, digest, or urls of headers ... unfortunately if you subscribe ONLY

to the archives you cannot post stuff to the list ... much more detail than

this should go off_list BPCS.
