We run the following and have not encountered any problems:

BPCS CD REL02
OS/400 V4R5M0
Client Access Express V4R5M0 on W95/W98 PCs

As far as I'm aware from reading the Client Access Web Site, you would need
Client Access Express V5R1M0 with service pack SI01907 for WXP. This
version will also work with W95/W98. However you would need to be at least
at OS/400 V4R5 for this Client Access Version to connect.

Vincent

Subject: Client Access, Windows XP, BPCS 405CD

Hello Everyone,
We are a BPCS 405CD shop running on V4R3M0. All of our PC's are still
Windows 95/98/NT. We are looking to go to Windows 2k/XP but our old version
of Client Access will not install. I know that we must use Client Access
Express for this to work, but if we go to this version I am fairly sure
that
we would have to upgrade our OS400 software. If we choose to do that, is
there anything that we should tak e into consideration as far as continuing
to run BPCS 405CD on a newer OS? Also we are using a 9406-620 AS400, would
we also have to consider upgrading our hardware to accomodate a newer OS?
Will the Client Access Express work on the older Windows 95/98/NT
platforms?
Any info anyone has regarding these questions would be extremely helpful.

Thanks....

Larry Orrel
