Hello, I think Wayne was referring to the ADDJOBQE command or CHGJOBQE commands (there is no CHGJOBQ command) - the job queues allow any number of jobs to exist in the queue itself. You then use the subsystem description to say how many jobs you want to run as active at once in that queue by using the MAXACT parameter on the ADDJOBQE command when you add your jobque to a subsystem (or CHGJOBQE if the queue is already attached to the subsystem). Submit the BPCS batch jobs you want to be single-threaded into the job queue that allows only 1 job at a time to run in that subsystem. (Your workstation data area settings allow you to specify the job queue to use for batch jobs for most BPCS programs -- and the default values for the workstation settings are taken from the System Control Data Area setup).
