by automated testing tools are we talking about testing of the BPCS programs, 
or are we talking about automated test systems on the mfg floor that test the 
products that you manufacture? we do quite a bit of the later, but it is 
completely outside the scope of BPCS. in fact we have a larger 'mfg software 
group' to support this application than we do to support the BPCS software 
itself.

Folks,

Anyone out there have any experience with automated testing tools on BPCS?  I
have a client looking to implement one.  The problem with this in the past
has been that the established tools had no scripts in place for BPCS (but the
vendors would be _MORE_ than glad to send an "expert" at $1600/day USD to
create scripts for you!).  I haven't investigated this for a couple of years,
so any and all more recent input would be appreciated...
