Do you have OGS?  Try this site - It's SSA's product specific ECM info.
There is a book there called

ECM V6.1.00 Help System - Release 1.01
 BPCS V6.1.00

It may or may not be useful.  I think I've attached the specific site.

Is there SSA/BPCS documentation to tell the job flow of an Advanced Ship
Notice from BPCS to ECM ?

What files it is occupying, what flags it is posting, is it just an entry
into a file etc. ( ie: TPEC for Transmit)
