Inventory Transaction

All folks,
    Version: 6.1.01, As/400
    we want to process batch inventory transaction through ECM623 function. and 
troubled me is the special procedure how to setup and how to import batch data. 
of course, i haven't entirely understand ECM concept, example for DataDock, ECA 
and so on. any help would be appreciated.
