The list that you provided is a good guideline and could have been the
initial BPCS procedure. However, do not assume this is the rule. There
are some exceptions. If you look at a list of BPCS Programs, like the
one found in BPCS 405CD Technical Overview  Manual & Desktop Reference
Book, you will see some exceptions.



If you are writing new programs, use the above numbering system for the
programs plus the product naming guidelines.



Remember, do not assume, always validate the information first.



For example, never assume that all the INV200 programs are for reports
especially when setting up security. You will find that INV220 ABC Usage
Summary has the option to update Item Master File with New ABC Classes.
