You and Foresight are correct.  The preferred RISC - RISC is to install
the required OS on the old system, do an option 21 save, and then reload
with IPL "D".

If you are only one release behind (e.g.V4R5 on old system), and the new
system requires V5R1, then a "slip install" can be done (as previously
sent).

I have done both ways, and both are good solutions.  If doing a "slip
install" there are PTFs that deal with RSTAUT with V4R5 user profiles to
a V5R1 system.
