If you have YYYYMMDD data now, you are going to have to convert it to YYMMDD anyway & the program that does so could be told to not copy anything older than your cutoff. Now we are on 405 CD & I have noticed that some program some place is dropping the high order digits of YYYY & I have not yet bothered to track down which one (I come across date of last activity for example in some files like IIM IWI etc. randomly missing all of YYYY) so your conversion program needs to allow for possibility of bad data in date fields.
