I just modified INV620 so that when we are not printing zero inventory tags,
we also not print negative quantity or absolute value under one, which in our
experience does not exist, so no point in having excess tags. I not remember
where exactly BPCS computes variance so I not sure impact of not having so
many tags, but looking at our data I see that negative numbers much more
significant than fractional numbers.

INV100 screen # 2 left side just below ABC is "discrete" cursor there F1
rounds forecasts to whole numbers.

Cool ... is there any place else with that kind of feature?

Our BOM does consume various lengths of wire
so we might make thousands of parts, each of which uses some number of
inches, but we'd like MRP subcomponent planning to default to whole numbers.

Is the only way to get that to use lot #s with an MRP140 Order Policy (screen
1 lower left corner) that specifies specific increments of order sizes?

I was not aware that we had fractional quantities for any our orders, but I
got people asking about that, so they must have got the notion from some
place.
