We have done this while upgrading from 6.0.02, to 6.1, and the recompiles worked
just fine. There are also some security issues, since the security in 6.1 is
not aware of the CIM objects, but it can be worked around.

Hi Folks,

I have a client moving from 405 CD to 6.1 and they use CIMPATH for the following
....

Purchase order receipts,
Shop order Receipts
Inter-warehouse Transfers/Adjustments

I was planning to try and recompile the current Cimpath programs
CIM520 and CIM600.

Has anyone else tried this or am I wasting my time.

We plan to implement the SMG's in the future but I don't know how to find out
about using them. Also I don't know how easy they are to implement given that we
are on a shot lead time.

Thanks in advance,

Frank.
